Hello Vaz lovers... (i wish we had a cool vaz/lada forum like this) But in holland a LADA is more exlusive than a BIG BENZ or BMW

Let me introduce myself:
I am Daniel
30 years old
Lived together in holland with my girl (she is latvian) but not you girl anymore
i sell truck and trailer parts

I have several cars...Including my 2101 from 1987
My daily car is a VW golf MK2 Turbo diesel
My hobbycar is a BMW M3 E30 with 6cyl Mpower engine
And my oldskool project Vaz/Lada 2101

End of april i will pick the lada up from riga
go to CSDD for the exportlicence
and polisch and check the complete car.Than drive it back to holland (1800KM)

The idea with the LADA is make it oldskool like the "russian green one"
i have SPax shockabsorbers
I will cut the niva springs in front (howmany rings to be as low as the green one does somebody know this)

Wow! All your car projects look awesome, you abeviously have great style!
It's also great to have some international members in here, what is not too often here.
I'm sure that you will realise this as awesome as you plan, since both of your cars are so great.

The day has come, this forum has experienced foreign member, (OK maybe there is some from other Baltic states, but definitely first from Holland )

I can say only one thing about your cars THEY ARE JUST F*KIN AWESOME, I like e30 very much especially in such a perfect condition, and plus with a m3 engine

I'm happy that one lada from Latvia will fall in your hands. Best wishes in project, hope that everything will go well and there will be one more super-cool lada

The idea WAS to make it a sleeper .. I Still Hava a 210 BHP Volvo turbo motor ... and make it a drift car and drive sleeper
My Girlfriend is Latvian .. SHE and Will stay in Riga for getting her Driving License.

But SHE doesnt like the zhiguli: cry: a pitty. because ITS very Exclusive in holland, germany .. EVEN in: Latvia:
wenn i was in Riga last July 2009 i liked all the Lada's there BUT i SAW more posh Cayenne Than LADA: I Do not know:

I'm looking for wheel Covers (Chrome) 4-pieces
and the bumper Things (they call them overriders) .. mine doesnt Have those Things (the green one Has Them)
And mudflaps like the green one to scrape the street ..

I bought this one for about 180 lat. the tripback and everyting Together is about 600lats: wtf:
Have a lot of parts allready to take in the plane to the 27th this month

My brother in law started the car after ALL THE SNOW and -35freeze.. damn it was much in latvia.. other battery and it started!!

Hello! Good luck with VAZ 2101 project, but i think cheeper will be realize it in Latvnia. Because workers, i think, is cheeper in Latvia and more available spare parts. I realize the same project with VAZ 2101 here in Latvia, it is expensive and take time more than 4 month. In next week my project will be ready.
